Ingredients
- 1 (27 oz) can whole green chilis, drained
- 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup shredded Jack cheese
- 5 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- salt & pepper, to taste
Directions
Grease an 8"x12" baking dish.
Slice chili peppers open and remove all seeds; pat dry.
LIne the bottom of the dish with one layer of green chilis topped with some shredded cheese. Repeat layering process.
In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream. Season with salt & pepper. Pour evenly over chilis and cheese.
Bake for 30 min., or until filling is set. Let stand for 10 min. before serving.
