Notes:  I did 2 different Spartacus workouts on Mon and Tues, which was 4 workouts in less than a 48 hr period.  This put my body well into overtraining, as this greatly has impacted my sleep all week, making me unable to sleep, despite being exhausted.  So, I didn't get good recovery.  Second thing was 1 day I forgot to take my multi-vitamins.  It's especially important to supplement well when you're putting your body through all this.  These 2 things alone, and being a buy single mommy brought my immune system down.

My daughter got sick on Wednesday and had to stay home from school Thursday.  Guess by that time, my immune system had already been compromised and whatever she got passed onto me, as Friday morning I began feeling like crap.  Also, another side effect of doing 2 hard workouts in a day is that Tues & Wed I was really ravenous.  By Thursday, my appetite had returned to normal.

To be on the safe side, as I was still feeling fine on Thursday, I did not do 2 Spartacus workouts, as my body was feeling not quite as strong, but otherwise fine.  Continued to drink water throughout the week.  However, yesterday I sorta lacked as I wasn't as hungry and thirsty.  As the day progress, I felt worse and worse.

When I weighed myself yesterday, I was actually 3 lbs less than what I weigh this morning, but I go with whatever I have for everything when I do my measurements, which is whatever it is on Saturday.  I did not sleep well as I was up with a serious sinus headache that I couldn't get to go away and lots and lots of sinus drainage.  My upper lip is super raw from all the nose blowing.

Though my bodyfat measurement stayed the same, I actually went up in my bodyfat calculations and 10 of my measurements went up.  I'm also guessing this may be the week before my period.  Dunno.

Definitely I would say doing extra workouts, like doubling up has NOT been beneficial.

  • Increases appetite
  • Reduces immune system
  • Extra supplementation is needed
  • Vital to get good recovery every night
  • Increase in weight, bodyfat and inches
I am really surprised, though, I gained 4 pounds along with 4" overall.  It is quite disturbing, but that's what the measurements say.  Today I'm just going to rest.
