SMARTER GOAL - Do a workout or walk today.

Did a walk this morning.  Goal completed.

SLEEP RECEIVED:  10:45 pm - 7:15 am (8.5 hrs) ----> Lots of vivid dreams; my son said he heard me crying and I vaguely remember being upset in my dream like crying.  Still felt a little tired when I awoke.  Did about 20-25 min. of EFT before going to bed.  Intent was to do an hour but I got incredibly tired and had to go to bed.

WATER CONSUMED (Goal is 100 oz):
Drank 8 oz by 8:30 am
Drank 22 oz by 9:30 am (30 oz total)
Drank 22 oz by 10:30 pm (52 oz total)
Drank 10 oz by 2:30 pm (62 oz total)
Drank 22 oz by 4:45 pm (84 oz total)
Drank 22 oz by 6:30 pm (106 oz total)
Drank 22 oz by 8:30 pm (128 oz total)

----> That's my water glass and it holds 22 oz just a little above the rim like where I have in the photo.  I drink that if I'm at my desk or in the house.

----> I find if I drink most of my water before 3-4 pm, that really helps me to not have to get up to pee in the middle of the night, therefore interrupting my sleep.

----> Drinking water throughout the day helps me to have a fuller feeling.

----> When I'm doing EFT work, I need to drink more water.

MEALS EATEN:
Meal 1 (8:20 am):  3 scrambled organic eggs, 2 tbspns hummus ----> Did not use any oil and it worked just fine.  I need to remember that.  It will saved me 13-14g of fat and the calories.

3 Eggs w/Hummus
---->  A part of me just wanted to go to JITB to get breakfast instead of making it as I felt lazy.  But, I was reminded that all my decisions are connected and that if I want to get closer towards my goals, the need to stay on track is imperative.  What do I want my destination to be?  Not where I've been, but a better place.

--->  Felt alright, but just slightly tired after eating, but that passed fairly quickly.

Meal 2 (11:00 am):  1 oz raw almonds

---> Felt energized

Meal 3 (1:45 pm):  1/2 Rubio's grilled mesquite shrimp burrito (my son couldn't finish it, so I had it).  (365 calories, 2 g sugar, 16 g protein)

---> About an hour after this I felt really tired and wanted to take a nap.  Was driving at that time, so that wasn't going to happen.  About 1.5-2 hrs later, I felt better.  There was a flour tortilla & rice in this.  Didn't plan on eating this and totally forgot to take a picture.

Meal 4 (2:45 pm):  Had about 10-15 mini-rice cakes (vanilla creme brulee).  This was just mindless eating that I forgot that I was watching what I was eating.  This probably had a lot of sugar in it.  One serving is 8 mini-cakes.  It has 4 g sugar, 0 fat, 60 calories.  Just this little bit had 8 g of sugar.  Wow.

---> I think the combination of the rice & tortilla with these rice cakes that had something sweet on it raised my blood sugar levels up and then came down, hence the desire to take a nap.  I pushed through that and did not take a nap.  My body doesn't like a whole lot of starch or sugar, except after an intense workout, it doesn't mind it.  It never dawned on me to take a picture.

Meal 5 (6:00 pm):  salad - romaine lettuce, oven roasted turkey breast, cauliflower, broccoli, shredded carrots, raw almonds, Greek feta dressing (Thought this was low fat; it was not. )

--->  I need to go grocery shopping for more variety of veggies, but this is what I have for now and a couple different other ones.  This salad is in the range of 400-450 calories.  Turkey is 100 cal, dressing is 110 cal, nuts is 120-150 cal (less than 1 oz).  The broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce & carrots have so few calories with the amount I used.

--->  There was no starchy carbs like rice, pasta, flour here and this was low in sugar.  Though everything

EXERCISE:  10:44 am - 11:15 am

Walk in the Park
Total Time:  31:06
Calories Burned:  230 calories
Max Heartrate:  109 bpm
Avg Heartrate:   100 bpm

Notes:  This was a fairly leisurely walk, though I did do 2 small hills.  Most of the walk was flat, though.  My heartrate in the mornings tends to be fairly low as compared to late afternoon or evening.

ENERGY HEALING WORK

Did about 30 min. of EFT, tapping along with Sandi Radomski in "Using EFT to Lose Weight" from the EFT World Summit 2009 this morning.  Had to stop because my body was telling me to stop.  Last Friday I did over 8 hrs of EFT and that was way too much.

Did intermittent EFT with Carol Look in "The Secret Key to Success:  Being Congruent" from the EFT World Summit 2009 this afternoon.  This was about 45 min.  Felt alright.

Doing EFT work often makes me quite thirsty, so I do have to consciously drink more water.  IF the right things are being hit, I get pretty thirsty for water, sometimes I'll get diarrhea, get warm or hot physically, yawn, and feel really tired and need to sleep.  These are ways my body is detoxing.
