Notes:   Yesterday was simply a horrendous day coughing.  My chest hurt so bad.  Not every day I cough incessantly, but yesterday was the worst in the past week.  It was also windy.  Though I have remained grain free and starch free (a few times just plain tiredness resulting in laziness almost had me eating foods that did contain grains & starches for convenience).  I am still eating low sugar, but the bags of cough drops I've been sucking on have artificial sweeteners and I'm sure that's messing with my ability to drop bodyfat.  However, it does help the coughing SOME.

By this morning, I should've had 4 Spartacus Beta 2.0 Workouts done.  That isn't the case as I've only gotten 3 of them done this week.  Today I will finish the 4th workout that was supposed to be done yesterday.  And, I will add an additional workout, not sure what to today's workout as it's a free workout day - meaning, we are still supposed to workout.

Last week, I did not workout, thus my bodyfat did not drop and that was the least amount of inches I've lost in the 6 weeks so far into this.  This past week, the workouts were not strenuous as in the 4-Week Challenge, but Funk assures us it will get progressively harder.  So, the results I get also depends on how tough the workouts are and how long.

Conclusions SO FAR I am making is definitely working out when healthy, tough workouts with enough rest/recovery, eating enough, keeping sugars low (meaning also no artificial sweeteners) will give me the best results.  I'll still get results with no exercise and just eating correctly, but definitely exercise, whether tougher/longer or shorter & still tough will get me better & faster results.

Honestly, I can't wait until this cough is completely gone for good and there are no other forms of sickness.

My son has Pink Eye right now, so I have a bunch of extra cleaning that I wouldn't normally do this often.  Everything needs to be constantly wiped down, as I can't trust an 8-yr old boy will do it adequately.  I definitely don't want to be getting pink eye, nor my daughter.

Hey Doris, So sorry to hear that you are still feeling under the weather and battling this horrible cough. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so proud of you sticking with your plan. I haven't had grains either and have been keeping my sugar very low as well. I know what you mean about sometimes out of convenience getting ready to just grab something that might not be a wise and healthy choice! Good for you dear, keep up the amazing work! Big Hugs!

Thanks, Gina. Today I'm still coughing, but it's maybe 1/4 as bad as yesterday and I was able to step up my workout by triple yesterday.

It wasn't a real temptation to eat foods I shouldn't, as it seems like that desire is really gone. I can't even really want to put that food in my mouth.

Your blog looks amazing, too. Those recipes of yours looks great, too.

Hugs Back,
Doris
