Wk 6, Day 4 - Thurs, 9-Jan-2014

5 GRATITUDES (Thank you, Heavenly Papa!):
  • That the subcon place allowed me not to take anymore work for today.
  • That our daughter's castle looks good.
  • For soup, which is mostly what I've had today.  Easy meals.
  • For finishing my subcon work before 4 pm, it's just that it was yesterday's work.
  • For all the jobs my husband is finding to apply for.  Hope he lands a great job soon.
THOUGHTS:
  • Today though I did not take any work for today, I still worked for 7 hrs.  It was a bit frustrating as I had to continually stop to add to my Auto Corrects, but with each document, I had fewer things to add because they were already on.  They gave me an additional 2.5 hrs beyond the 2 additional hrs I requested.  
  • As my husband applies for jobs, he often asks me for help and I don't mind, unless I'm really tired and stressed, which I was, regarding upgrading to Windows 8.1 and having a whole new system.  I now have to adjust, so this took me longer than I thought it would, but it seems like everything is getting on track.
  • We took our daughter to school to have her display her project for the parents.  Guess most of the kids were bringing their projects later than 5:30 pm.  They had until 7:30 pm.  Some of the projects looked like there was very little student involvement rather parent involvement.  However, the projects I liked were the ones that looked like only the kids did.
  • Tomorrow is a busy day so I need to get to bed early.
  • Was hoping to get a workout done, but I was physically and mentally drained with no energy.  Plus my sleep has been way off.
  • Coughing has been worse today as opposed to the past 3 days.  After drinking the tea with turmeric in it, it felt better.  I really want this cough to be gone!  Gone!  Gone!
ACTIONS:
  • Took my heart meds, hair supps, Multi vitamins, fish oil, probiotics, cinnamon 
  • Drank some tea with ginger, lemon, green tea.  In the evening, added fresh turmeric to the tea.  Yum.
  • Used vaporizer with hydrogen peroxide.
  • Taking prescribed cough medication and now an antibiotic and steroid - .
LIFE TO DOs:
  • Get IE bookmarks onto IE11.  My old laptop could not upgrade even to IE8 (I think).
  • Oil Change - Friday morning
  • Get Wednesday's subcon work done - I didn't finish until 3:30 pm, well after when it was due, but they extended my time.
  • Laundry - rugs, towels
  • Update my husband's ss card at the ss administration office in downtown Phx - next week
  • Update driver's license for my husband - next week
  • Pay for son's field trip fee in January. - pay before field trip
  • Put away summer clothes and hang winter clothes up.
  • Make photo album for husband's mom. 
  • Make photo album for kids' Grandma M. 
  • Upload videos to YT for kids for karate. - Loaded this to the wrong YT account.
  • I need to get an estimate on the repairs and fax to them this week. - I called JT regarding this and he told me what I needed to do.
  • Get some ActivaFulvic.
  • Apply at ST, EJ, CW.
  • Resolve format issues with some MP3s to my iPod.
  • Continue with job search.
  • File paperwork in crate.
  • Explorer Things To Fix List - rear 3rd brake light (whole assembly $120 + labor), passenger side powered mirror ($31 from eBay + labor), passenger front seat powered windows ($120-200 total), left rear tail light ($35 from eBay + labor), rear windshield wiper ($20 from eBay + labor), front hood strut mechanism, rear driver's side door fixing it ($200)
SLEEP:
  • 11:45 pm - 6:00 am (6.25 hrs) - just really dragging.  My husband kept waking me up and I specifically asked him not to before I went to bed.  This is making me cranky because I've now had 3 nights of not enough sleep.
FOOD JOURNAL:
Breakfast  (7:00 am) - eggs scrambled with tumeric rice & brussel sprouts with a little sea salt & cheddar cheese.  That's the last of the turmeric rice.

Lunch (12:15 pm) - so very hungry - a bowl of clam chowder and some saltine crackers (still hungry)

Snack (4:30 pm) - a vegetable eggroll, and a low fat strawberry yogurt (so very hungry)

Dinner (6:45 pm) - a chicken bun (my dad made), some spicy lime pork rinds, and some corn chowder (so very hungry)


EXERCISE - Rest Day
