Wk 2, Day 2 - Wed, 11-Dec-2013

THOUGHTS:
  • The other day had to buy another Progressive International Tower Device, as the one we currently have, the lid as well as the base are cracking.  Contacted Progressive to get a replacement lid & base, but they are out of the lid and discontinued manufacturing years ago.  We picked up our original dicer/wedger/slicer at Goodwill for maybe $3-5.  They are now pretty pricey as they are not being manufactured, but I was able to find one for under $30.  Most are in the $50+ range.  With an Amazon gift certification, I was about to get it for just under $15.

Sliced an onion in a matter of seconds for the BBQ Ribs
Would've bought the Nicer Dicer Plus, which would've cost less, but so many reviews were bad on this because of the construction, I just didn't want to chance it right now.  We love our Tower, minus the material quality of the base & lid, which we now know how to avoid cracking these, or at least helping them stand up longer.
  • The crockpot is my friend and I will be making more crockpot recipes throughout this winter.
  • The incessant cough is awful.  Hate it.  I have to be careful of drinking too much fluids as the coughing does make me want to urinate (I know, TMI).
  • Coughing so much it gave me the dry heeves.  Very gross puking up nothing but stomach acidic stuff.
  • My cough seemed to subside a lot after eating Chinese food.
  • Bummed about an interview for my husband.
  • Feels good to have gotten all my subcon work Mon-Wed on the day I took the work.  What really helps me a lot is my husband picking up the kids when they get out of school.  I take them to school.
  • Am mildly sore from the hips through the booty, and upper legs, and a little bit my upper back.
ACTIONS:
