GRATITUDES:
  • Thank you God for the Colombian food my SIL sent us.  It was very yummy.
  • Thank you God for an awesome quiet time this morning with you in the park.
  • Thank you God for getting the things my doctor wanted me to get done - blood work and schedule an appointment with him.
  • Thank you God for friends.
  • Thank you God for a lightness between my husband and I.  I hope this continues because I hate when things are negatively tense with us.
  • Thank you God our son's orthodontist visit was uneventful, nothing to report.  He will see him in 6 months to see how his teeth are doing and take x-rays at that time.
  • Thank you God that both of the children are being pretty disciplined with their school work.
THOUGHTS:
  • Today we had our second meal from the food my SIL sent to us.  I'm still floored that the two boxes she sent of perishable food cost $80 Express Mail from Miami.  Wow!
  • Today no real fast food, so that is good.
  • Getting my sub con work done faster these days, but it hasn't been as lucrative the past couple days. :(
  • Have been having a few momentary dizzy spells the past few days intermittently.  Kind of weird, but they usually happen at high altitudes or when my blood sugar is low.
  • Frustrated with attitude things with the kids and them eating like pigs, well, a pig probably is less sloppy.
  • I'd like to learn how to make Colombian Sausage (Butifarra).
  • Feeling tired and sluggish the past few days.  I think it's because I really haven't had a good 8 hrs of sleep for a bit.  My body needs more sleep.
  • The kids getting out at 12:30 pm all week this week is throwing my schedule off.
  • I need to get a workout done.
  • Tomorrow is my son's teacher's birthday.  I volunteered to bring the Red Velvet Cupcake with Cream Cheese Frosting, her favorite.  Thank you Safeway for baking this.  Gotta get up early to get this.
ACTIONS:
  • Took my heart meds, hair supps.
  • Drank lots of water.
  • Got blood work done at the lab.
  • Made an appointment with my family doctor to go over my blood work.
  • Renewed my heart meds.
LIFE TO DOs:
  • Get Tuesday's sub con work done today.
  • Take son to orthodontist appointment.
  • Clean off desk.
  • Prep house for pest control.
  • Steam bollos for either dinner or lunch.
  • Pay for son's chess tournament for this weekend.
  • Pay for kids' karate for next session on Friday.
  • Upload videos to YT for kids for karate. - Loaded this to the wrong YT account.
  • I need to get an estimate on the repairs and fax to them this week. - I called JT regarding this and he told me what I needed to do.
  • Reschedule dental appointment to get teeth cleaned - Maybe Nov.
  • Followup with AZ regarding discrepanies in Child Support.
  • Look up list of stuff Peter gave me.
  • Get some ActivaFulvic, iodine.
  • Get Probiotic from LH.
  • Apply at ST, EJ, CW.
  • Resolve format issues with some MP3s to my iPod.
  • Continue with job search.
  • File paperwork in crate.
  • Reorganize top of cabinet.
  • Find out costs for parts & labor for the things we need done to the Explorer - rear 3rd brake light (whole assembly $120 + labor), passenger side powered mirror ($31 from eBay + labor), passenger front seat powered windows ($120-200 total), left rear tail light ($35 from eBay + labor), rear windshield wiper ($20 from eBay + labor), front hood strut mechanism, rear driver's side door fixing it ($200), belt for the P/R/D ($135), odometer/tripometer, cigarette lighter.
SLEEP:
  • 11:00 pm - 5:30 am (6.5 hrs) - I woke up before my alarm, which is irritating.
FOOD JOURNAL:
Breakfast  (9:30 am) - 2 scrambled eggs

Lunch (1:00 pm) - a regular bowl at Tokyo House of Mongolian Beef, an eggroll with some spicy Chinese mustard and sweet & sour sauce, with an unsweetened iced tea

Dinner (6:00 pm) - 3 slices bollo de yuca (steamed) with 8 butifarra (a Colombian sausage), a half a small lemon (squeezed the juice and put over the butifarra) and 3 slices of bacon.  This was such a yummy meal.  I could've eaten double this.  Definitely steaming the bollo was much better than microwaving.  Much more flavorful.
