Wk 11, Day 3 (Wed, 2-Oct-2013)

THOUGHTS:
  • There's a lightness between my husband and I, so that is refreshing.  We had a good talk yesterday about how we both think and communicate and working on giving each other grace, forgiveness and valuing, respecting that we are different.
  • Both my husband and I are together with being upset with the iOS 7 upgrade, which really to us seems like a downgrade.  After talking to the 2nd tier of technical support at Apple Care and not getting a solution, as well as talking with Verizon multiple times, we went into an actual Apple Store and their resolution was to replace the iPhone.  Nothing was wrong with our iPhone before the upgrade, so we'll just see if that works or not.  At the Apple Store they insisted there was nothing wrong with the iOS 7.  No, nothing wrong with their iOS, it's just that all our iPhone problems began after we installed it.  Well, we'll monitor our battery life and data usage.  
  • I needed to workout today, but all the time we spent on the phone with Apple and in person at the Apple Store nixed this.  Uggh.
ACTIONS:
  • Took my heart meds, hair supps.
  • Drank water (a 48 oz QT cup).
LIFE TO DOs:
  • Upload videos to YT for kids for karate. - Thought I did this, but they never took, so I have to redo sometime.
  • Call Apple Care. - It's being escalated to a third tier.
  • Turn in invoice on sub con job.
  • Go to Apple Store - Genius appointment regarding iOS7 - they replaced the iPhone for us and said if that doesn't solve, then the next step is to go back to Verizon to see what is sucking the data and look at our Wifi settings.
  • Get front wheel alignment done.  This will be Thursday.
  • Discount Tires Claims called me.  I need to get an estimate on the repairs and fax to them this week.
  • Buy eggs. - Albertson's
  • Get Dove body wash & brussel sprouts at Costco - Thurs.
  • Reschedule dental appointment to get teeth cleaned.
  • Followup next week on why there is extra stuff deducted from child support not on the court order - next week, not this week.
  • Look up list of stuff Peter gave me.
  • Get some ActivaFulvic.
  • Apply at ST, EJ, CW.
  • Renew NN (end of Sep).
  • Renew AAA (end of Sep).
  • Get updated AAA card - call that in.
  • Pay balance on daughter's books (beg of Oct).
  • Resolve format issues with some MP3s to my iPod.
  • Continue with job search.
  • File paperwork in crate.
  • Reorganize top of cabinet.
  • Find out costs for parts & labor for the things we need done to the Explorer - rear 3rd brake light (whole assembly $120 + labor), passenger side powered mirror ($31 from eBay + labor), passenger front seat powered windows ($120-200 total), left rear tail light ($35 from eBay + labor), rear windshield wiper ($20 from eBay + labor), front hood strut mechanism, rear driver's side door fixing it ($200), belt for the P/R/D ($135).
SLEEP:
  • 11:30 pm - 3:00 am, 4:00-6:00 am (5.5 hrs) - definitely not enough sleep.
FOOD JOURNAL:
Breakfast  (6:45 am) - some turmeric rice with eggs

Lunch (12:30 pm) - a quesadilla (mozzarella cheese, bacon, cilantro, onions)

Dinner (7:15 pm) - a steak and cheese burrito

Snack (9:45 pm) - a pina colada empanada
