WORSHIP SONG:

How Great Is Our God - Chris Tomlin

5 GRATITUDES (Thank you, Heavenly Papa!):
  • Thank you God for snack foods.
  • Thank you God for A/C.
  • Thank you God for a full tank of gas.
  • Thank you God for great deals.
  • Thank you God for movies.
THOUGHTS:
  • When we were in Goodwill on Wednesday, my son saw a brand new Wii Standlander for $30.  We were not going to pay that much or even 20% off.  The best we could do was 50%, which would be today.  We told our son that if it was still there Saturday, we might think about getting it.  Goodwill opens at 9:00 am, so I made sure I was at the same Goodwill before they opened.  When I got there, it was still there, so I bought it!!!  That will be part of his early birthday present.
  • Goodwill is a great place to get some school clothes.  I was guessing at my son's size, and I bought 8 pairs of khaki pants for $1.99 each.  They all fit him, but 2 were a little bit and 1 was slightly tight.  Keeping the big pairs as they are almost new.  The slightly tight is going back.  Also got him a couple pairs of swim trunks for $1.49.

So, the 5 pairs that he will wear to school cost me $9.95 and someone is giving him all the school polos for free.  What a blessing to have all his uniforms paid for under $10, as there will be plenty of other things that cost money.
  • Very happy that we do not have to buy our daughter her skirts, though, we may have to get them taken in because of her gradual weight loss through portion control and exercise.  We will probably have to buy all her polos new, though, because these polos aren't too good used, as they get all faded.
  • I was hoping to get more weekend work done, but I spent a little time with my husband and son watching a WWII movie.  Feeling a little burned out working so late every night this week.

  • Probiotic & 2x krill oil - forgot
